The German Gemaschen were designed to cover the soldier’s boots from the ankle up to prevent snagging, and keep stones, mud, dirt, dust etc. from getting inside the soldier’s boots.
This unissued set of police gaiters are made in police green canvas, are still paired together by their original string and are beautifully marked with their RB number
