These are EARLY and with a rare green/yellow anodized finish - prior to them being painted.
I have 2 for sale, this one is perfectly intact and usable if that suits your fancy!
The finish was a more expensive and effective form of corrosion protection that was phased out and only used for more important aluminum parts like some of the cans for rocket fuel and some optics parts later in the war.
Many of these were painted over during the war and these don't come up often!
