This beer stein commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Battle of Königgrätz 1866 - the decisive battle of the Austro-Prussian War in which the Kingdom of Prussia defeated the Austrian Empire in what is now the Czech Republic.
The front is cut with a portrait of Kaiser Wilhelm I and the lid is inscribed with a dedication to a veteran from the Brehna Warrior and Landwehr Association on July 3, 1891 and measures about 7.5 inches tall.
