Product Overview
Deutscher Kleinempfänger DKE 38, the small mass-produced radio receiver promoted to bring broadcasts into every German home. This one was made by C. Lorenz A.G. It has a dark brown Bakelite cabinet with the cloth-covered speaker opening, the national eagle emblem above the tuning dial and two control knobs. A toggle switch is on the reverse. The rear panel is printed Deutscher Kleinempfänger, GW 110-240 Volt 50, with the Lorenz name, the VDE mark and the connection and voltage instructions. It keeps its original braided cloth cord and two-pin plug. Function untested. The Bakelite has light scratches and wear at the edges, and the speaker cloth has some spotting. Good used condition.
