Original German Labor Day badge from 1936, it is constructed out of a die struck aluminum-alloy base that has been silver washed. The round shaped obverse depicts an old style plow, riveting hammer and downward pointing broad sword behind a German national eagle and reads “1. Mai 1936” Maker Marked on the reverse.
