Product Overview
German M35-pattern fire brigade helmet with a lightweight aluminum shell in gray-black lacquer. The shell carries 11 rivets: seven liner and fitting rivets around the sides and a cluster of four ventilation rivets at the crown. The original shell was refitted after the war with a replacement liner of tan perforated leather with nine fingers, laced with brown cord and stamped with the adjustable size range 53-61. The name Michael Jacoby is handwritten inside. Five leather tabs for a neck guard are fitted at the rear, but no neck guard is present. The black leather chin strap is attached. The lacquer is heavily rubbed, with scattered paint loss on the crown and along the rim. Used condition.
