1938 pattern, revised sleeve rank insignia consists of a roughly 60mm diameter navy blue wool base with a machine embroidered rank chevron and two pips in silvery/grey threads to the center.
The reverse of the insignia has a protective black oilcloth backing and remnants of an HJ/RZM tag.
The insignia signifies the ranks of Marine-HJ Oberscharführer, and DJ-Oberjungzugführer.
