In researching the picture, it’s turns out that it is a French rail gun and the image on the side is Sneezy (Atchoum) from Snow White and the 7 dwarves. The French named at least some of their rail guns after the 7 dwarves and the Germans appear to have kept the names after capture. For more information and pictures:
