Up for sale is an exceptional, completely intact piece of WWII Eastern Front history: a genuine pair of Soviet military-issue 6x30 field binoculars, complete with its original matching field case. Manufactured in 1945 right at the conclusion of World War II.
- Manufacturer Markings: Features the distinct inverted Dove Prism maker's mark of Factory No. 19 (evacuated to Novosibirsk, later known as NPZ) on the left prism cover, alongside the "6x30U" specification.
- Wartime Stamping: The right plate is crisply stamped with the production year 1945 and individual military serial number 047902.
- Optical Condition: The optics are remarkably clear, sharp, and fully functional. As seen in the photos, the lenses exhibit the authentic, heavy yellow/amber anti-glare filtering tint intentionally engineered by Soviet factories to maximize target contrast in heavy haze or low-light conditions.
- Military Reticle: The right eyepiece contains the original, perfectly intact internal artillery rangefinder graticule (reticle) used by Red Army spotters.
- Original Case & Straps: Includes the correct, rare late-war mixed canvas/leather field case featuring its original purple rectangular factory acceptance ink stamp inside the lid. Comes complete with the original leather neck strap and protective eyepiece rain cap.
- Cosmetics: Great vintage condition with minimal paint wear on the brass/steel edges, fully intact textured body wrap, and smooth-turning diopters.
