Now this beautiful frosty War Merit Cross - 1st Class is unique.
The majority of these crosses have a marked pinback and as you can see, this one is not marked.
There are two trains of thought here:
1 - That it is a First Model Juncker
2 - That it is a Klein Quenzer, either unmarked or with a replaced pin
I will leave this determination up to you and I will add that the weight on a jewlers scale comes to 22 grams
