While these radio receivers are referred to as the 'small' version, don't let that fool you, they are much larger than they seem! This radio stands almost 10 inches tall.
The front of the radio has a mesh screen over the speaker and a dial indicting the frequency with a national eagle above it with they symbol drilled off. Functionality not tested however everything appears intact and the original cord is present.
The Volksempfänger (people’s receiver) was a range of radio receivers developed by engineer Otto Griessing at the request of Joseph Goebbels, the Reich Minister of Propaganda of the Nazi regime. The purpose of the Volksempfänger-program was to make radio reception technology affordable to the general public.
