These wartime Swiss boots are nearly identical to the German boots and have been used by reenactors and collectors as standins for years.
Made of brown leather they are 7.75 in. tall with 12 in. soles, each with matching serial markings on the interior, maker's marked "W&Co." and size marked "28...7" on the soles. The hobnails on the bottom are distinct and were used with mountain troops and the German Gebirgsjäger.
While these do have some wear, they are still in excellent condition.
