A Classic Typewriter for a collector. This rare Adler Favorit Thrust-Action Portable Typewriter is a 1936 model. One of the first made. This beauty appears to be a fully working antique typewriter.
Thrust-action? Yep, this was a unique design from the 1930s. The keys on this machine are pushed forward (thrust) towards the paper. They slide smoothly towards the platen on a shiny metal plate.
The handle on the case is peeling but besides this, it is GORGEOUS.
