Product Overview

Winterhilfswerk donation can for Gau Westmark

Much like our Salvation Army bell ringers, people rattled these cans to elicit donations for soldiers on the front line. Once you made a donation, they gave you a donation pin/tinnie.

The Gau Westmark was an administrative division of Nazi Germany consisting of Lorraine and the Saarpfalz.

Maker marked on the bottom - M. Westermann & Co., G.m.b.H with the WESCO logo and Neheim-Ruhr.

Excellent - Abd Rabdall written on the front.
