Scarce WWI German leather folding saw case, marked on front flap with a German Imperial crown and 'LG', marked on verso 'Industriegruppe 1 Stuttgart 1917'. Leather is supple, slight wearing on straps and edges. One strap is missing, probably cut by WWI soldier, and only part of strap remaining is part of the buckle. Small side flap missing on the left side of the cover. Approx. 7 x 7.5 inches.
